PHOTOS & STORIES
This page may load slowly: so many photos of naked people! And remember, in the book, all the photos are much bigger and clearer. And not a single photo in this book has been artificially created. Every scene occurred exactly as you see it!

NEW HAT
In old black and white movies, a lot of people on public streets (especially men) wear hats. Why is this a thing of the past? Why is it so uncommon these days, during the warmer seasons, to see a person wearing a hat?
If you’ve never worn a hat for fashion, as opposed to function, try it. You’ll think people are staring at you while you’re admiring your new hat in the window. |

POCKET WATCH?
Hi.
Hello.
Are you Dorian, the owner?
Uh…yes I am.
I need a timepiece.
I guess so!
I find it hard to keep track of time.
Sir, you need a timepiece that will make you more aware.
What do you suggest?
Well, I have some of the finest watches in the world.
I’d really like to see something in a pocket watch.
Pocket watch?
That way I’ll have to be constantly looking at the time.
Yes Sir, but…
I’ll never be late to anything! May I see that one?
You have exquisite taste, Sir.
This is perfect. My credit card number is…
Let me ring that up. Please sign here, Sir.
Thanks a lot, see ya!

NUDE TREND
Only a couple months after I took my first photograph, I received national news coverage, something I didn’t feel warranted, since I had shot only in Michigan.
It seemed that every time I turned around, people were suggesting I go to Madison: “It’s just like a big Ann Arbor.” They were right! It was surprising to me that even though this was the capital of Wisconsin, it was far from being conservative and stuffy; in fact, it was quite the contrary.
Although I was consistently working with larger groups than I had worked with in the past, shooting seemed to go very smoothly. It was almost as though I was documenting a nude trend that had developed upon my arrival. At no time during any interviews there was I asked if I was worried about getting arrested. Everyone seemed to know that the police would be cool with the nudity.
Normally I would not choose a liquor store as a location for a shoot, but the message on the awning was perfect. |

NO RESERVATIONS
While scoping out the famous Melrose Avenue in L.A., the hostess stand at this lively cafe jumped out at me like a blue-light special.
Although this model had no reservations about posing, she tended to freeze up and blank out the moment she took her clothes off. After I yelled “Got it!” she snapped out of it as if startled.
Exiting to the right of the photo, her first few steps were more like hops as she grabbed her tube-style dress from around her ankles and proceeded to pull the entire thing above her waist while running down the sidewalk. When we met back at the car, I asked her what the woman at the hostess stand had said. She replied, “What woman?” |

LIMELIGHT
This is a report that probably won’t be handed down to future generations: the Starr Report, which catapulted President Clinton into a scandalous limelight. It’s one of those things you “just had to be there” for. |
